understanding prayer..
i had an aha moment this morning ,thanks to Neale Donald Walsch. I have been thinking about prayer and different situations that I was asking for intercession for but realized i had not let it go . by continuing to think about the ‘problem’ I was not allowing spirit, source,God’s help to come. this was the mornings What God wants you to know
…that money is just as holy as meditation, just as
sacred as prayer. It is a wonderful part of God.
If you hold an idea that money is the root of all evil,
you may unconsciously keep it from you. You are
invited to drop that thought now.
All the money you need is coming to you now. Do
you believe that? You must, you know…
You will not have to think but a second to understand
exactly why you received this message today.
Wow!, then as i searched for some additional information for my workshop part for the Wellness Workshop coming up I found this by Neale Donald Walsch to support the mornings message and what I ALREADY KNEW but was not applying to this situation..
“We may pray for greater abundance in our life, or for help with a financial problem. Those prayers are earnestly offered, earnestly said, and earnestly sent to God during our formal, ritualized time for prayer. Then for the rest of the week we go around harboring thoughts of insufficiency, saving words of insufficiency, and demonstrating insufficiency in the everyday actions of our lives. So 95 percent of the time we send prayers that affirm we don’t have enough and 5 percent of the time we ask God to bring us enough. It is very difficult for the universe to grant us our wishes when 95 percent of the time we are, in fact, asking for something else.”
So why wouldnt I apply what I already know to be true.. that our thoughts create our experience? Looking deeper it comes to worthiness. I am worthy and deserving of the abundant supply that source has for me , for all of us. Today I allow that to flow to me, I am willing to release all negative thought , worries and control of the outcome. so funny that we think we have control yet our experience shows that we do not..
something to think about.
heart and spirit filled blessings.
